At the time, the need for automation had become increasingly urgent for Groep Roussel. Managing over 3,000 pallets and more than 2,000 SKUs meant that a traditional, manual warehouse setup was no longer sustainable. Furthermore, with inventory responsibility in the industry shifting upstream to the manufacturer, the company required a faster, error-free logistics process. Proven long-term performance Now that the system has been operational for a while, it continues to run at a higher efficiency than originally projected. The long-term results speak for themselves: deliveries are consistently faster, and operational continuity has been fully secured through a tailored maintenance plan, including critical spare parts management. Additionally, the warehouse has successfully sustained operations with two-thirds fewer staff compared to the old, non-automated setup.
