This customer is a major international logistics and courier company.
Challenge

The customer required a solution for the high-speed, automated handling of parcels and bags within the airport. The system had to comply with strict technical requirements and international standards.

During the project, the building layout changed several times, requiring continuous adjustments to the installation design. This demanded a flexible and agile project approach.
Solution

Motus Handling designed and delivered a large-scale conveyor system in accordance with the end customer's specifications, including compliance with American engineering standards.

The installation consisted of 3.8 kilometres of conveyor belts operating at speeds of up to 120 m/min, combined with 14 lift systems, chutes, and spiral conveyors. Most modules were custom-designed to fit the specific requirements of the project.

As on-site storage was not possible during installation, the project relied on detailed logistics coordination and meticulous planning. The system was installed by Motus Handling service technicians certified to work in the airport's airside area.
