Boxes are not always stacked perfectly on pallets. As a result, the load can lean, exceed the allowed contour or become difficult to handle in automated logistics flows.

Out-of-tolerance pallets create practical issues in storage and transport. They take up unnecessary space in the warehouse, can cause problems in automated systems and may no longer fit efficiently next to each other in a truck.

Motus Handling therefore developed a Pallet Squeezer that corrects the contour of loaded pallets before they continue in the logistics flow.

The Pallet Squeezer is typically integrated into a complete logistics automation concept. Upstream contour checks determine whether a pallet can continue directly or should first pass through the squeezer.

Inside the machine, the pallet load is corrected in a controlled way. The system includes overcompensation to account for the natural spring-back of cardboard boxes after squeezing.

The machine is designed to handle different pallet formats and load heights, making it suitable for various food-industry and logistics applications.
